Privacy Policy

Our Approach

We collect what we need to pick you up and get you where you’re going. Nothing else.

This page tells you exactly what that means: what we hold, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how to get it removed. Where we name a company below, that company genuinely receives your data as part of running the service. We haven’t padded the list, and we haven’t hidden anything behind “trusted partners.”

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

1. Who We Are

Sultan Rides Services Inc., a New York corporation, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

For any privacy question, email us and put “Privacy” in the subject line.

2. What We Collect

2.1 When You Book

  • Your name, phone number, and email address
  • Pickup and drop-off addresses
  • Date and time of travel
  • Airline and flight number, for airport reservations
  • Number of passengers and luggage
  • Child seat requests and accessibility requirements
  • Any special instructions you give us
  • The name and contact details of a passenger, where you book on someone else’s behalf

2.2 Payment Information

Card payments are processed by our booking platform and its payment processor. Sultan Rides does not store full card numbers on its own systems. We retain the last four digits, the card type, the amount, and the transaction date so we can match payments to reservations, issue refunds, and respond to disputes.

Where you pay by Zelle or bank transfer, we retain the payment reference and amount.

2.3 When You Contact Us

We keep records of calls, text messages, and emails with you — including reservation changes, requests, and complaints — so we have an accurate account of what was agreed.

2.4 Corporate Accounts

For business accounts we hold the company name, billing address, the names and contact details of authorized bookers and travelers, cost centers or reference codes you ask us to use, and invoice history.

2.5 When You Visit Our Website

Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on site, and the site or advertisement that referred you. Section 7 lists the specific tools involved.

2.6 What We Do Not Collect

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, your date of birth, your immigration status, or any government identification number. If you send us one of these, we will delete it.

3. How We Use It

PaymentCharging the agreed fare, issuing receipts and refunds, responding

We do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

4. Who We Share It With

Your chauffeur. The assigned chauffeur — whether an employee, independent contractor, or affiliate operator — receives your name, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, flight details where relevant, and any special instructions. This is the minimum needed to complete your trip. Chauffeurs and affiliates are contractually required to use it only for that reservation and not to retain or reuse it afterward.

Each receives only what it needs, and each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the data.

Social media plugins. Our website may include share buttons or embedded content from social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. If you interact with these features, that platform may collect data according to its own privacy policy, independent of ours.

Others, only where required: law enforcement or regulators responding to a valid legal request; our insurers and legal advisers in the event of a claim; our accountants for tax purposes; and a purchaser, if the business is ever sold — in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.

Nobody else. We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or disclose it to third parties for their own marketing. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months.

5. Text Messages

If you give us your mobile number and opt in, we may text you booking confirmations, chauffeur assignment and arrival notifications, and service updates. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of booking with us.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
This information is excluded from every category of sharing described in Section 4 and is not disclosed to any third party for those purposes.

Once a retention period ends, records are deleted or anonymized. Where you ask us to delete data sooner, we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it — for example, a completed trip’s financial record.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for three things: making the site and booking widget work, understanding how people use the site, and measuring which advertisements lead to bookings.

We use, or may use, the technologies below. We do not use any analytics or advertising technology that is not named here.

TechnologyWhat it does
Google AnalyticsMeasures website traffic and how visitors move through the site
Google Tag ManagerManages the tracking tags used on the site
Google Ads and Conversion TrackingMeasures which advertisements lead to bookings
Google Dynamic RemarketingShows relevant advertisements to people who have visited the site

Your choices. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings; blocking essential cookies may stop the booking widget from working. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on, and you can adjust advertising preferences in your Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Microsoft account settings.

We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no common standard for them.

8. Your Rights

You may ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
  • Correct anything inaccurate
  • Delete your information, subject to records we must legally retain
  • Stop marketing to you, at any time
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and of any sharing of your information for that purpose

If you are a New York resident, these rights are offered to you as a matter of our policy. If you are a California resident, they are additionally provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising them.

9. Security

Access to reservation data is limited to staff and chauffeurs who need it for a specific trip. Payment processing runs through our booking platform on encrypted connections, and we do not hold full card numbers. Business email and files sit in Google Workspace with account-level protections.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by New York law.

10. Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Children travel with us often as passengers. Where they do, we hold only what the booking adult gives us — typically a first name and a child seat requirement. We do not ask children for information and we do not market to them.

  • Acknowledge you within 2 business days
  • Tell you exactly what we hold and where it came from
  • Delete it, unless we are legally required to keep a financial record of a completed trip
  • Confirm in writing once it is done

There is no form to fill in and no charge. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you are of course free to escalate — but we would like the chance to fix it first.

11. Other Websites

Our site links to third parties, including our booking platform and our social media pages. Once you leave sultanrides.com, this policy no longer applies. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you are directed to.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always posted here with a revised effective date, and material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page. The version in effect when you book governs that reservation.

13. Contact Us

Questions, requests, or concerns about privacy:

We answer every privacy inquiry. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the New York State Attorney General’s office.
